Award 4: Liebster Award

Hello, I have another award post today, thank you Samm! The aim of the game here is to share 11 facts about yourself, answer the 11 questions from the 'tagger', create 11 questions for the people you tag and finally, tag 11 people with under 200 followers. Random fact, I was definitely intrigued into what leibster meant so I googled and it's actually German, translating into words such as sweetheart and darling, aww. I also found out that these aren't the original rules at all, it's like a game of Chinese whispers! Anyway...

11 facts:

1. I'm a total daydreamer, a bit slow and dozy at times.
2. I am not good at making decisions. At all. 
3. I'm a curious person, I think it's so strange how things happen the way they do.
4. I love romantic films, I'm such a soppy girl, n'aww.
5. I will travel America one day.
6. I want to stay home for uni, all of my friends are moving all over the country but no, home is where I want to be.
7. Me and Lee have been together for 596 days, love him lots!
8. I used to collect stickers, rubbers, bouncy balls and key rings, strange kid.
9. I often get told I 'look about 12'. That's not fun.
10. I hate healthy food, life would be so much easier if I liked the stuff.
11. I'm socially awkward. Terrible at meeting new people and keeping a conversation going.

1. What's your favourite make-up brand? I can't choose! Different brands are good for different things aren't they...
2. Do you have any pets? No. I would love a dog, I've been begging for one for so long but it's not happening.
3. Bronzer or blusher? Hmm, I can go without bronzer, not blusher otherwise I look dead so blusher is it.
4. Laptop or Mac? Laptop. I would love to own a posh Mac one day but for now, my pink Dell inspiron is my baby, it has treat me well.
5. Opinion on the brand MUA? I've only tried their undressed palette and I love it, their prices are great so I definitely want to try more!
6. Favourite palette? As above. I'd love to own the Stila in the lights palette but I've been loving my undressed palette, tis so versatile. 
7. Urban Decay or Benefit? Benefit, only because I haven't tried anything Urban Decay, I love Benefit's high beam.
8. What's your dream career? I'm pretty set on social work, preferably working with teens. I'd love to do some magazine writing too.
9. Favourite blog? I love so many, I'm going to start adding a blog to my reflection posts, I've enjoyed reading through Alix's recently.
10. Most used eye look? Like neutral or bold? Neutral. I love to experiment with colour but very rarely go out without my go to neutral eye.
11. Random, iPhone or Blackberry? I have a BB and unlike others, I enjoy my little phone although sometimes, I do crave an IPhone.

Award 3: Laine Blogger Award

Hello m'loves. The lovely Mollie recently left a nice little comment telling me she had awarded me for this award, thank you very much Mollie! 

The questions:

1. What is your current beauty obsession?

I would probably have to say my new MUA undressed palette, it has the most perfect shades to take you from day to night, I've been enjoying seeing what I can come up with from this palette recently. 

2. What is one beauty item you wished you owned?

Oh dear, I could go on and on, no way can I choose just one! Okay, a random pick from my wishlist at the minute is a few Essie polishes, Anna is a very bad influence with her love for the brand as she has got me lusting over many shades. 

3. What kind of posts are your favourite to read and write?

I love reading every type of post, the nebby side of me wants to say the more personal life style posts but I also love favourites and empties. For me, I do love writing a bit about my life as I feel like I'm creating a little online diary which can keep all of my memories for me to look back on. 

4. What inspired you to become a blogger?

All of the other amazing bloggers and youtubers of course. I discovered YouTube first but just couldn't bring myself to make videos, I'm way too shy! That's why I'm so pleased I found blogging, I realised I could chatter on about whatever I like and share it with others without putting myself out there on the camera. 

5. What nail polish are you wearing right now?

This is a rubbish answer but I'm trying my hardest to use up my old nail polishes to make room for a whole new lovely collection, so right now I am sporting a rather nice bronze shade from an unbranded bottle haha.

Award 2: Sunshine Award

Hello strangers! I hope you're all well. I now have one exam left until I'm free! So exciting, unfortunately it is the hardest one, the dreaded psychology py2 but it's the fact that I am going to have so much free time afterwards that's keeping me going. I am going to do a good ol' update post after that day of freedom has arrived (Tuesday!) but I thought I would do a quick post today as the lovely Mollie awarded me the sunshine award!I love this one, it brings out the positives as you have to share 10 things that make you happy and then tag 7 others. It definitely reflects the weather at the minute too, how amazing is it! So here we go:

1: Family, friends and my boyfriend: 

Let's get the most important but soppy one done, they're all absolutely amazing and constantly make me smile, aww.

2: Adventures and holidays: 

Okay, so maybe I don't often experience the most exciting of adventures but just little enjoyable days or weekends out, doing something different is always good. Me and Lee are off to Alton Towers for the weekend soon, our first little adventure, I can't wait! Also, whether it's school holidays or holidays abroad they both make me so happy, being able to relax and do whatever, whenever. Yes please.

3: A successful shop:

Lets face it, which girl doesn't enjoy splashing the cash once in a while and returning home with bags full of pretty clothes and make up? I don't get to indulge in some good retail therapy very often but when I do, it's a good day.

4: Trashy TV:

Many may say that these TV shows are fake and trashy but I don't care because they're still brilliantly addictive. I'm talking about the likes of Keeping up with the Kardashians, Made in Chelsea etc. The type of show that makes you jealous of the amazing lifestyles and beautiful girls, yet we still love watching. I just recently got into Made in Chelsea and I must admit I do look forward to 10 o clock on a Monday night to snuggle in bed and watch the latest episode.

5: Blogging:

I love coming home from school and sitting down to read all the new posts that have appeared on my dashboard. Also, I'm so pleased that I started blogging. I love the interaction and receiving lovely comments, the whole community is just so lovely!

6: Sun:

I do love cosy dark winter nights too but this weather at the minute really is making me one happy chappy! It's making revision so much more pleasant, knowing that I can soak up the rays while I'm at it.

7: Music:

Music can instantly make anyone happy, whether it's a feel good tune that makes you want to dance around like a lunatic pretending you can sing or a song that brings back good memories. Old songs make me so happy! Who remembers Hear'say? Usher - burn? Nelly - ignition?

8: Memories:

Bit of an obvious one but I love having a good reminisce, thinking back on all the good times puts a massive smile on my face, it does make me sad too though, wanting to go right back to a certain day.

9: Lazy days:

Pyjamas. Food. Films. Bed. Nothing wrong with a lazy day once in while, they definitely make me happy.

10: Organisation:

Just because I'm a freak like that.

Award 1: Blogger Appreciation Award

Hello again, what a miserable day! Last week we were all catching the sun and today all we're catching is rain or snow, a drop in temperatures was expected but come on, the weather could be a little nicer to us. I bet many have been sensible and took the bad weather as a chance to snuggle up with some good films but no, me and my friend ventured in to town with the aim of finding her a hair dressing apprenticeship. That failed, we opted for staying inside the lovely warm shops instead, I didn't buy anything as i'm off to the metro centre tomorrow for a good shopping trip with momma. I am now sitting with my big coat on trying to warm up, it's like winter has decided to give us another visit. Anyways, the lovely Becca from back for tea has awarded me the blogger appreciation award, my first award, woo! Thank you Becca! The Questions:

1. How long have you been blogging? 

Since January this year, I was hesitant but i'm so pleased I went ahead and pressed the publish button on my first post! 

2. What are 1-2 reasons you started blogging?

I love reading through the blogs of others and have done for a very long time, getting my daily dose of all things girly and getting to know the faces behind the wonderful blogs, I could see how great it was to be part of the community and I wanted to join in, talking about something I enjoy. I also began blogging because I love writing and i'm not the most confident person but here I feel like I have my own little space to freely write about what ever I want too.

3. What types of blogs do you like to follow/read?

I definitely read mostly beauty blogs but I do love a blog that has a mixture of beauty, fashion, lifestyle and cooking. Of course blogs that focus on only one or two of those topics definitely take my interest too.

4. What is 1 thing you would like to improve on as a blogger on your blog?

Hmm, I am one to unfortunately always be comparing my blog to others and I am always thinking that my blog could be improved, either in terms of design, writing style or photo quality etc. I think something I do struggle with though is how to make my posts readable in terms of how much I write, lets face it, no one wants to be sat facing paragraphs of writing for them to read. So I guess I would like to improve on condensing my thoughts and opinions and not rambling on and on. I'm not much of a talker in person to be honest but on here I feel like I could talk for England haha.
